THE TALLY HALL RADIO PLAYS

“Without a Leg to Stand On”

“Murder She Wrote Off”

Our next production at STG is the radio play comedy TALLY HALL, written by two of our members Nathaniel Young and Richard Williams with direction by Chris O’Leary.

TALLY HALL pays homage, with a healthy helping of cheekiness, to the radio plays of the 1950s where listeners would 'tune in’ each week, whisking them away from their ordinary lives, to hear the next instalment of their favourite show and the stories and depictions from their favourite radio actors.

The TALLY HALL series focuses on the drama and comedy of Lord of the Manor, Nelson Carter the Third, his extended family, ever-suffering staff and local townspeople in the county of Prattshire, England.

Joining Nate and Richard in the cast are some well known faces to regular STG patrons - Helen Ekundayo, Lesley Davis, Loretta Donnelly, Wendy Williams, Annette Page, Jason Lawson, Brad Oliver and Henry Jacobs.

We also have a wonderful opportunity, partnering with Australian Sign Language Interpreters Association QLD (ASLIAQ), to offer our Friday 9th August performance AUSLAN interpreted for the hearing impaired. I would encourage you to mention to any friends or family with a hearing impairment to come along and enjoy this professionally interpreted performance of TALLY HALL.

We look forward to seeing you at the theatre during the run of this original comedy.
